Our founders spent their careers in federal investigations, technical intelligence and risk management, including years teaching cybersecurity to government and military professionals. Now we teach everyone else the habits that keep their devices, accounts and data safe.
Our story
Origin Point is a close-knit team of colleagues and friends who have worked side by side for more than a decade. Between us we have decades of experience in criminal investigations, technical intelligence and strategic risk. Over those years we saw the same thing again and again: most compromises don’t need sophisticated hacking. They succeed because of weak passwords, missed updates and devices that share far more than their owners realize.
We started Origin Point in 2021 to close that gap. Our training goes beyond checklists and jargon. We teach you how to think critically about the balance between security and convenience, then walk you through the fixes on your own devices so you leave class already safer than when you arrived.

There is no silver bullet in cybersecurity. We focus on quick, proactive steps that make it much harder for anyone to reach your data.
No vendor ties
We have zero relationship with any company whose tools we recommend. We test and use everything we teach ourselves.
Small groups, real answers
Sessions are capped at 10 people, so everyone gets individual attention, and instructors stay available after class to help.
